 "Artist Stan Chow was born and raised in Manchester, England, where he currently resides. He began his career in 1997, mainly as a fashion illustrator and storyboard artist, and has become one of the most highly respected and established artists in the UK, working across a platform of media in advertising, design, publishing, packaging, gaming, animation and interactive. Chow was guest of honor prestigious Hamley's Toy Store in London at the launch of a children's book series he illustrated: "The Adventures of Eddie, a very special pigeon", and celebrated actor Simon Callow performed a live reading. More recently he has been diligently working on his first love: cartoons and caricatures, and his design for The White Stripes USB memory stick was nominated for a Grammy Award."

UM Project had created the Super Pack: 7 Carpet Critters using Interface carpeting materials for the event Idea Lab 2012: Carpet Art to celebrate Interface's New York showroom opening. Together with 31 other designers, all the artworks were auctioned off with all proceeds going to DIFFA ( Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids).

The Interface showroom is located at 330 Fifth Avenue on the 12th Floor. 

Architect firm Keitaro Muto Architects have recently completed the 'Ginan House' on a small plot of long & narrow land of only 461 meter square with 148m2 of total built-up area in Ginancho Hashimagun Gifu, Japan. This modern contemporary house in Japan blends various geometric shapes which give it the signature unique facade. The 'garden' lead to the house covered with gravel which continue out onto the exterior wall, taking on the same material & texture into the structure.




The interior spaces are centered around the void generated from the seperated angled faces building blocks. The interior features clean and minimalist design with cleverly placed windows & openings to invite the light and air. A long pond or water basin pointing outward the main road act like a little oasis in the entirely rocky compound.
