W121/ W122 Wool Pendant Lamps by Claesson Koivisto Rune Posted: 08 May 2012 09:32 AM PDT A pendant lamp made of wool, that's the material explored by the trio at Claesson Koivisto Rune for Wastberg. A rare material not so often for lamps, the unique felt quality used is heavy gauge and therefore an efficient absorber- not of moisture, but of sound. So hanging this lamp over the table doesn't just add light where you need it, but also improve the acoustic. And the design? Think of them as Audrey Hepburn- glamorous. (Technical: Dimmable pendant lamp. Warm white LED with glare-protecting shade and diffuser. The shade is made out of 100% natural, fully renewable and biodegradable materials. The heavy gauge material makes the lamp an efficient sound absorber.) + ckr | W101 table lamp |
