'We don't stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing.' George Bernard Shaw

Duffy London presented the delightful Swing Table, which will transport you back to your childhood. Bring the playground into the boardroom or dining room with the Swing Table. Snap your staff or dinner guests out of the doldrums; meetings or dinners will become a fun and inspiring experience.

A Geo lampshade and 8 hanging chairs are suspended from the four-poster frame around a walnut table top. This playful design will delight and inspire and it makes vacuuming a breeze!

The Swing Table is made of solid walnut wood and powder-coated mild steel.

Al-Rajhi Mosque Riyadh by RSP Architects

Al-Rajhi Mosque Riyadh by RSP Architects

A project by RSP Architects:

The design of Al-Rajhi Mosque is inspired by the iconic symbol of the Crescent, which is the shape produced when a circular disk has a segment of another circle removed from its edge. This is derived from the astronomical definition, which refers to the shape of the lit side of the moon that appears to be less than half illuminated by the Sun.

The design of Al-Rajhi Mosque was based on this iconic symbol, where a crescent is formed in plan, from the overlapping of two ellipses of different diameters, the smaller inner ellipse becomes the main prayer hall while the outer ellipse becomes the skin of the building.

The Crescent is also visible in elevation, where the design team has developed the skin as a composition of two different domes an outer shell dome that shields the building from the surroundings and transforms the mosque into a spiritual sanctuary, and a smaller inner dome, made up of a Mashrabiya pattern that allows the sun light to be filtered into the prayer hall and endows the space with an ethereal light quality.

The brand OM-Line is a new cosmetics line for men, that is selling exclusively in the Spanish supermarket chain Consum.

The initial essential briefing was for creating a design that doesn't supposed an important increase on the final product, because what the Spanish chain pretends is to launch an affordable cosmetics line for most of the clients. The studio had to make a choice from Standard industrial packages with current validity on the market. Furthermore, design resources were used to allow the minimum ink and technical finishes use looking for not increasing the costs, without losing the presence and the esthetic on the linear., Good presence at a very good price!

Leica Store Kyoto

Leica Store Kyoto

German camera maker Leica opened its newest flagship store in Kyoto that operates in Gion, a traditional geisha neighbourhood. A 100-year-old, two-story traditional "machiya" style townhouse reconstructed using artisan techniques, retaining the exterior and the original structure, has been married to the Leica worldview, creating a unique Leica store unlike any before it.

Contemporary elements were styled by Danish design studio OeO, alongside with Kyoto textile maker Hosoo and Yoshida. The store's interior, which evokes an atmosphere of Japanese tradition, features two floors; a shop downstair, a tatami room, an indoor garden and a gallery upstair. By retaining much of the original structures and facade, the new Leica shop sit in perfection with its neighbors. Only a small lantern bearing the Leica logo plus a logo on the entrance curtain are used to mark the Leica shop. It's a clever localization of the Leica brand in this 1,200-years of ancient city.

To mark the opening of Kyoto store, Leica released 100 pieces of limited-edition Leica MP camera in olive green with leather strap with a price tag of euro 11,000.
